Two of America’s top hurricane forecasters at Colorado State Universtiy annouced that they will no longer issue hurricane season forecasts in December, six months before the season starts. 
After reviewing their previous 20 years of forecasts, they realized that they had “no predictive value at all”.
- Duh!
- Most meteorologists can’t tell us what’s going to happen this afternoon, let alone six months from now.
- Meteorologists everywhere immediately lowered their Dopplers to half mast.
