Today, we bring you Part II of our visit with Tom DeLisle - a longtime friend who worked on and wrote character bits (including “The Whoa Boys”) for my show back in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. He’s a fascinating guy who has always referred to himself as a “Bystander to the Stars”. He spent many years in Hollywood (in fact he wrote 24 monologues for the “Tonight Show”). He “rubbed elbows” with many of the rich and famous - from movie stars to politicians to sports legends - and today shares some of his priceless stories with us!

I listened to you when you were on CKLW and then on WCZY 95.5 in the mid 80's with Purtan's People. I am so glad you are doing a podcast! I moved away from Michigan in 94' to Indiana and always tried listened to you when I was back in the Detroit area.
Crazy as it may seem, I live near South Bend, IN and one day, a few years ago sitting in Notre Dame University's parking lot, I dialed up to 104.3 and by gosh, you were on air! Imagine that, thinking I was going to be listening to 104.3 out of Chicagoland, but nope, it was my Ol' radio friend - Mr Dick Purtan!
