Today Dick sits down with Detroit Radio veteran, former program director, teacher and "observer" Dick Kernan to talk about the immense changes that have affected so many people in the broadcast industry... including the listeners. Kernan was the first program director of the legendary Detroit Rock station WRIF (Baby!) in the late 1960's. He's been involved in the radio and media business ever since. From former Detroit jock Howard Stern all the way to the legendary Dick Clark, Purtan and Kernan share their thoughts on the "State of The (Radio) Union"... and Purtan offers up his personal experiences with both Stern and Dick Clark.
