The price is $19.99 and proceeds will help benefit two vital Michigan Military charities: Operation Homefront Michigan and Honor Flight Michigan: The Legacy Project.
I’m thrilled to be working with these two groups and my hope is that holiday sales of the CD will help them achieve their goals of both “Honoring the Past and Supporting the Present”.
Operation Homefront Michigan provides services to deployed military families and wounded warriors. They issue emergency assistance in the forms of: food and baby necessities; car repair; house payments; plumbing; moving assistance; appliance repair; school supplies and backpacks; holiday Adopt-a-Family; community events; and even bicycles to military children in need.
Honor Flight Michigan was created to fly Michigan’s WWII veterans with an “Honor Flight” to visit the National World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. Nearly 1400 veterans have experienced this memorable journey. Now Honor Flight is building a legacy project of a permanent memorial, in Royal Oak, to the Michigan WWII vets to remind future generations of the importance of the service and sacrifices made by these extraordinary men and women.
